Our story
Katatonic is a bold, handmade bath and fragrance brand based in Bendigo, Victoria — founded by Kat, a maker with over 20 years of experience in retail.
Formerly known as Chain Reactions Bath & Body, we’ve rebranded to reflect our new vision: vibrant self-care, playful gifting, and a product line that’s as fun as it is fragrant.
We’re proud to be a regular fixture at the Bendigo Showgrounds Market every Sunday, where you’ll find our full range of handmade bath bombs, soaps, wax melts, and more — all crafted with love and a little bit of chaos.
Our team is small but mighty:

• Trav chief problem solver and co creator.
• Danika is our market queen and customer service superstar.
We believe in building strong relationships with our customers and fellow creators. That’s why we also stock select products from other makers we admire.
Whether you’re shopping online or visiting us at the market, we hope Katatonic brings a little joy, a little sparkle, and a whole lot of scent to your day.
We love all our products and the majority is all handmade by us, here in Bendigo Victoria, where we cannot make something our selves we support other small handmade businesses in Australia and our supplies are purchased from Australian businesses, we believe in developing strong relationships with both our suppliers and our customers.
